Administrative Assistant
Performs a variety of clerical and accounting functions, such as compiling and sorting documents, calculating and verifying amounts, and posting transactions to accounts. Assists the Chief Executive Officer performing clerical duties, answers telephone, preparing reports and acts as the Scribe to the Board of Directors. May be assigned to specific areas of accounting, such as accounts receivable, payroll, or billing to assist the Chief Financial Officer. Works under general supervision, with some review of work in progress. Typically requires four to five years of clerical accounting experience.

Accounts Payable Clerk
Performs a variety of accounting clerical tasks related to the maintenance/processing of payable account records, invoices, etc.. Assists the Chief Financial Officer performing and verifying amounts, and posting transactions to accounts. May be assigned to specific areas of accounting such as accounts receivable, payroll, or billing to assist the Chief Financial Officer. Works under general supervision, with some review of work in progress. Typically requires 1 – 2 years of clerical accounting experience.

Admission Clerk
Responsible for implementing operational changes, monitoring of physicians schedules and making appropriate adjustments, updating schedules to reflect meeting times and locations. Keeps patients informed as to the timeliness of their appointments, answers insurance questions, reconciles daily charges and over-the-counter collections. Performs a variety of general reception, secretarial, insurance, and data entry duties while promoting a safe environment of minimal stress. Answers the telephone, schedules appointments, handles patient finances, maintains patient records, and coordinates patient flow between the front and back office staff.

Billing/Coding Coordinator
Performs work of considerable difficulty applying the appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes to individual patient health information for data retrieval, analysis, claims processing, and quality control; performs other work as required or assigned. The employee in this position may be assigned to train other employees and/or monitor the work produced by other employees. The employee performs diverse duties of an advanced and specialized nature. Judgment must be exercised in analyzing facts or circumstances surrounding issues. Work often requires development of recommendations and independent actions consistent with policies, general directives, and broad regulations.

Case Manager
The case manager is responsible for providing supportive services to individual and families. The case manager is responsible for screening and enrolling participants in the appropriate community resources, working closely with the individuals who meet the eligibility criteria for case management assisting them to access services that will lead to improved quality of health. The case manager will document program activities, enter data and prepare monthly reports reflecting such activity, as indicated. This position is under the supervision of the Physician Assistant.

Certified Medical Assistant
Administers nursing care under the direction and supervision of a physician assistant. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Participates in the planning and evaluation of patient care.

Chief Executive Officer
Manages the overall daily operations of the clinic. Provides leadership to staff and the community ensures compliance to state and federal regulations. Responsible for program development and implementation. Responsible for seeking and developing a diversity of funding streams. Responsible for grants development, writing, and management.

Chief Financial Officer
Under limited supervision, provides direction, management, and leadership in the administrative, business planning, accounting, budgeting, and automation efforts of East Texas Border Health.

Chief Medical Officer
Provide overall direction and leadership for clinic on a 24 hour basis; ensure the effective administrative management of clinical functions related to personnel and policy in order to meet the mission of patient care and education. Typically, direct multiple clinical operational areas including the supervision of mid-level providers. Provide direct medical care in approximately 4200 face-to-face patient visits, annually.

Clinical Manager
The clinic manager is responsible for supervising all support staff within multiple clinic settings. Supervision includes orientation, development and evaluation of personnel, and monitoring the provision of quality services. The clinic manager also will act as the main point of contact for the clinic, manages the clinic budget, staff scheduling, and ensures the marketing programs are properly executed and maintained.

Dental Assistant
Administers dental assistance care under the direction and supervision of a dentist. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Participates in the planning and evaluation of patient care.

Dental Hygienist
Promotes dental health by completing dental prophylaxis; providing oral cancer screening and radiographic studies; charting conditions of decay and disease; performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice act.

Dentist
Provide overall direction and leadership for the dental program; ensure the effective administrative management of dental clinic functions related to personnel and policy in order to meet the mission of patient care and education. Supervises dental assistants and dental hygienists.

Community Health Nurse
This position is primarily responsible for providing health education services for the residents of Harrison and Marion County to encourage the use of preventive health services and practices.

Discharge Clerk
Responsible for implementing operational changes, monitoring of physicians schedules and making appropriate adjustments, updating schedules to reflect meeting times and locations. Reconciles daily charges and over-the-counter collections. Performs a variety of general reception, secretarial, and data entry duties while promoting a safe environment of minimal stress. Answers the telephone, schedules follow-up appointments at discharge, maintains patient records, and coordinates patient flow between the front and back office staff. Assists the Admissions Clerk when necessary.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Provide psychosocial assessments, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as discharge planning to and consultation about patients and families to assist them and the health care team in coping with patient's illness, diagnosis, treatment, and/or life situation, including emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders.

Lead Licensed Vocational Nurse
Administers nursing care under the direction and supervision of a physician assistant. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties. Participates in the planning and evaluation of patient care.

Performs a variety of clerical duties involved in maintaining patient medical records to include filing, retrieving and distributing medical records, loose notes and reports and maintaining associated logs and records in accordance with established priorities and procedures while promoting a safe environment of minimal stress.

Under immediate supervision, maintains patient files and statistics; responds to requests for medical record; performs clerical duties.

Mid-Level Provider
