How do I qualify for a discounted fee or sliding scale fee for services?
Ask any staff person how to qualify for discounted fees. You must complete a screening application, provide proof of income, and Texas residency.

Who qualifies for discounted or sliding scale fees?
Fees are determined by the family income and size.

Do I need an appointment?
While appointments are not required, it is recommended that appointments be made to reduce your wait time.

Do I need a social security number?
No.

Must I show proof of my income?
Yes. The clinic is supported by various funding sources that require the grant money to be used for individuals who are uninsured or uninsured and below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level Guidelines.

Who pays for the medical and dental services offered at the clinic?
Our business office bills every available resource to pay for services including: Medicare, Medicaid, CHIPS, and Private Insurance carriers along with state grant funding.

Is there a minimum payment?
Individuals who have no insurance and an income that falls within published guidelines are assessed a nominal fee for the office visit, x-rays, lab work, or injections.

How do I pay for services?
We accept local personal checks, credit card and cash. It is our policy that payment is due at the time of services.

What if I cannot pay for services?
It is our policy that no one is refused non-emergency services based on their inability to pay.
